Remember last month, at the beginning of the football season, when I re-purposed a Trader Joe’s peach box and liner too nice to just toss?
We filled it with raw fruits and veggies for the family to nosh on while watching their favorite teams (Go Falcons!) hash it out on the football field. That was “What’s On Your Serving Tray?”– Part 1. Click here if you don’t prefer the CliffsNotes.
“Girls Night In” Nibbler Tray
Now for Part 2– different scenario, a 2nd empty box/liner formerly occupied by Trader Joe’s peaches and an opportunity to minimize the clean-up.
Sick of the boisterously loud restaurant scene, where you’re competing with the noise and barely able to relax and hear your friends fill you in on the ongoings of their lives for the past last few months?
Trade in the chaos for a more peaceful setting – your home.
If you want to serve a preamble to either the dinner you judiciously slaved over or the take-out you ordered and suspiciously emptied onto your best serving dishes, why not nibble on this sweet, crunchy, salty, healthy medley while you sip on a bottle of Vino.
Impress your guests with your own combo of Vegan snacks. The above tray (meant to inspire and bring out your inner Vegan) includes: cinnamon apple chips, roasted pumpkin seeds, dried pineapple, raw almonds, nut/fruit trail mix (mine is Trader Joes’ Oh My! Omega Trek Mix), dried mango, lightly salted pistachios, raw walnuts, moist sun-dried tomato halves, barbecue-flavored World Peas, and a mix of golden raisins and dried cherries, blueberries, and cranberries.
Enjoy! Don’t forget the Vino!
And don’t forget the 1st WVL Giveaway. Remember that you have to be an email subscriber in order to automatically be entered for your chance to win a box of Vegan snacks. You still have time. The drawing is October 31st 2015. Click here for more details.
